  We have four unique vacation rentals,  just 2 miles from the "Mayberry" type town of 
 Mena, Arkansas--choose your favorite, and start making some memories: scroll to the bottom for all four.  They have privacy from each other.  First, our largest:

Hide away in this amazingly charming stone cottage, or sit in the loveseat swing by the bubbling brook and waterfall!   Forget the stress of your everyday world for a few days!

There is free wireless Internet, if you have to keep in touch with the real world, but you won't want to tear yourself away from just relaxing at this wonderful cottage.

There are 2 queen-size bedrooms, 2 full baths, one with jacuzzi tub, both with showers.  But even though there is room for 2 couples, we have many honeymoon or anniversary guests who love this cottage with just the two of them (the 2nd bedroom stays empty--we don't rent it to anyone else, so you have all the privacy you want).   The fully equipped  kitchen (with full-size fridge/freezer, stove, dishwasher, all linens, dishes, pots and pans) is just off a delightful garden room with view of gardens and stream with waterfall. Or you can cook outside in the charcoal BBQ/smoker.  Your own private grounds, not shared.  (Willowbrook Garden Cottage is the main part of the large stone manor house, includes the stream and main flower gardens, and is separated from The Nest, which is in a formerly unused wing of the cottage with its own entrance and its own private garden, so both have privacy.)

Curl up in the knotty-pine living room with original stone fireplace,  and watch a movie or read a book, or enjoy your little Victorian dining room.

In the spring and summer, the flower gardens and grounds give you delightful privacy and enchantment.  Fall and winter bring their own joys with the fall leaves and crisp air, with pretty places to walk.   

$160 per night, double occupancy; additional persons $10.

Hide away from the world in this private western cedar cabin in the woods--yet you are only 2 miles from Mena on a good paved road.  You will feel refreshed as you take your morning coffee out on the deck or on the screen porch, listen to the birds or the breeze in the pines on the hill behind the cabin.  You might even get to see some wildlife from the National Forest.

A deluxe pillow-top canopy queen bed awaits you after you soak in the two-person jacuzzi bathtub!  Romantic and memorable will be your getaway at Woodhaven Cabin.  

There is a loft with two single beds (or you can make them up as a king) if more than two people are staying; in fact, if you want to bring the family, children will love the large collection of teddy bears that they can play with in the loft.  There  is a nice wide and easily accessed stairway.

The kitchenette has dishes and utensils, and includes a full-size fridge/freezer.  Outside in the clearing in the woods is a little BBQ grill and picnic table, in case you want to cook out.  You can enjoy walks into the National Forest if you walk just past the cabin on the county road and turn left onto the gravel road that goes up into the forest.  Then come back and snuggle by the fireplace (wintertime) and watch a movie from our selection.  Or you may be able to pick blackberries by your driveway (summertime).

Carpeting, heat and air make the cabin enjoyable year-round.  Springtime brings bulbs and early flowers, and in summer you will love watching the butterflies in the wildflower gardens front and back of the cabin.  Fall wraps colorful foliage around the cabin, and winter just makes it all the more cozy.  Sometimes in the winter we get a rare but lovely covering of snow that makes it a winter wonderland.

A great little cabin (10 x 40) when you need plenty of  sleeping spaces, a kitchen, bath, but not a lot of square footage!  There is a large shady yard by the brook that makes a home base while visiting all the wonderful area sites.  Close to picturesque small town  of Mena in the heart of the 1.6 million acre Ouachita National forest, where tourism and outdoor activity thrive.  We are not far from nature, bike, and ATV trails (Directions: from cabin, go right on 44 to 375 and go for eight miles; trail head will be near County Road 277), along with 2 golf courses and several lakes within an hour drive.
